Echosmith will have their music featured in five episodes of this current season of MTV’s hit-comedy series, Awkward.

According to Seventeen, the band will also be a part of the show’s storyline. The cast is actually supposed to attend an Echosmith concert in an upcoming episode, but deal with a million obstacles that prevent them from getting there in time.

Ed Sheeran has revealed in a new interview with MTV that Taylor Swift recruited him as the support act of her upcoming "Red" tour, which kicks off next month, via text message.

The British singer/songwriter said to MTV:

“There’s no one really bigger in the world right now that I could tour with so to be able to get on that tour and to be invited on its not like some of these tours where people have to pay money or it’s a favor. She just literally texted me saying, ‘Do you want to come on tour?’ and I was like, ‘Yes.’”
