A huge congratulations to Demi Lovato, who’s stunning new album, Demi, debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, with 110,000 units sold!
The X Factor judge was up against some tough competition this week. Vampire Weekend scored the number spot with their new album, Modern Vampires of the City, which sold 134,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan and country artist George Strait with his latest release, Love Is Everything, selling 120,000 in its first week.
Vampire Weekend debuted two songs titled, “Diane Young,” and “Ya Hey” at SXSW last week.

Both songs are taken from the band’s long-awaited new album, Modern Vampires Of The City, which is scheduled to be released on May 7th.
